Experts from large companies in the sector such as PepsiCo, Zurich, CaixaBank and IBM will participate in the challenge as mentors, as well as serving on the jury that will decide the winning team. What is it all about?
Individual coding test
- From 2 October to 5 November
All participants will be able to choose between the three types of challenges designed for each job profile.
How will you participate based on your area of specialisation?
- If you’re a web developer (front-end or back-end) you must develop your code locally and share your repository on GitHub. Follow the instructions in the email you will receive after registering.
- If you’re a data scientist, you must develop your code in a Google Colab notebook and, once you’re done, share a link to your code following the instructions in the email you will receive following your registration.
How will Hackathon participants be selected?
Starting from the week of 6 November, we will begin checking your code. On the week of the 12th, we will share the results of the individual tests and put together the teams for the great challenge. Only the 100 best applicants will be selected for the Hackathon. Stay tuned – we will get in touch with instructions!
PHASE 1 schedule
– Start: Monday, 2 October at 10:00 A.M. (GMT+2).
– End: Sunday, 5 November at 11:59 P.M. (GMT+2).

If you make it to the final phase, you are among the 100 best candidates, so congratulations!
16th November
Location: Barcelona Activa Cibernarium
We will present the teams, which will be made up of front-end developers, back-end developers and data scientists.
As a first step, you will have to decide which challenge you want to solve. You will have a mentor who will be there to help you at all times.
You will have the whole day to complete all the milestones you have set for yourselves for each development phase. So get ready to show off your coding skills: 100 professionals, 9 teams, 24 hours.
17th November
Location: JUMP2DIGITAL
Final sprint! This is when you’ll have to finish developing a solution to the challenge you’ve chosen.
But not everything will be about coding! You must also get ready to present your solution. The mentors and the jury will help you present the challenge, the solution you have developed, and the team that came up with it.
This will be the time to connect with the companies that will join us at the event. Who knows? It could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship… You never know what professional opportunities could come up!
